Ausglass (The Australian Association of Glass Artists) Limited is a not-for-profit members organization. The Company has a Board of volunteer Directors elected by Members. Directors are appointed for a three-year term and for a maximum of two consecutive terms.  The Board meets in face-to-face meetings at least once a year and monthly by teleconference during the remainder of the year.

The Board of Directors is responsible for running Ausglass and appoints office-bearers from its ranks.

Members in various State and Territories - are supported by the Board - in organising activities initiated by local Members. Such activities are capable of forging strong relationships with local communities and with businesses, organisations and institutions whose objectives are consistent with those of Ausglass. Such ties enable Ausglass to function beyond the borders of its Membership and to participate in broader conversations about issues relating to art glass.

Ausglass is committed to inclusivity and to celebrating diversity through its membership base, activities and board. We encourage membership and participation from glass artists and supporters of Australian glass regardless of their race, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, gender, class and physical abilities. All members and participants in our events are expected to respect and adhere to our principles of diversity and inclusion.

Ausglass acknowledges the traditional owners throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, culture and community. This includes the owners on whose lands we and our members live, work and meet. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Membership and participation of First Nations people is welcomed and encouraged.
