Membership for Australian Residents

Individual Membership

12-month Individual Membership of Ausglass.
For individuals who want to be an active part of the Australian glass community.
Speaking and voting rights. 
Individual membership is valid for 12 months* from the date of receiving payment. (* In the case of new membership applications, this is subject to acceptance by the Ausglass Board.)
Student Membership

12-months Student Membership of Ausglass.For Australian-based students and those undertaking formal training. We’ve kept the price low so that you can prepare yourself fully for your glass experience. Must provide a copy of your current student ID.  Speaking and voting rights. Student Membership is valid for 12 months* from the date of receiving payment. (* In the case of new membership applications, this is subject to acceptance by the Ausglass Board.)

 
Affiliated Membership

12-month Affiliated Membership of Ausglass.
For organisations such as libraries, museums and other organisations that wish to be kept informed. Speaking rights only. 
Ausglass Affiliated Membership is valid for 12 months* from the date of receiving payment. (* In the case of new membership applications, this is subject to acceptance by the Ausglass Board.)
Concession Membership

12-month Concession Membership of Ausglass.
For holders of an Australian Government Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran Card. (Must provide a copy of the current card).  Speaking and voting rights.
Concession Membership is valid for 12 months* from the date of receiving payment. (* In the case of new membership applications, this is subject to acceptance by the Ausglass Board.).


Membership for International residents

Ausglass is pleased to offer memberships for international customers below. International Memberships are not subject to GST.

International Affiliated Membership

Ausglass Members Liability Insurance (OPTIONAL)
Ausglass Members Liability Insurance
$160.00

Ausglass Members Liability Insurance is available exclusively to Ausglass Members. It provides product, public & tenants liability coverage as well as property coverage: see the Policy Information Supplement for details.  Pleases also read the Policy Disclosure Statment for this product (and policy endorsement) as well as  the Financial Service Guide from City Rural, our insurance broker.

A summary of terms of this insurance product:

  • annual premium is $160 for $20,000,000 coverage of product, public and tenants liability.
  • claim excess is $500 
  • cover is for insured Member plus up to two others who are working on the same project.  
  • covers making, selling, exhibiting and teaching for up to 10 people per workshop. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • The terms of this insurance package include the requirement that the insured must be an Ausglass Members for the the period of insurance. In practice this means that the membership and insurance years must coincide. i.e. Take the insurance option when you first join and at the time of each membership year renewal.  If after joining/renewing membership you subsequently require insurance, contact treasurer@ausglass.org before making application for insurance.
  • If purchasing a policy for the first time, or if your past-year policy has lapsed, a FULL APPLICATION is required. (NB: Payment without an application does not provide insurance cover.)

After payment (and application where required) is received a Certificate of Currency will be emailed directly to the insured Member by the insurer. (NB If a certificate is not received please contact billing@ausglass.org)
