Vicki Torr Memorial Prize

The Vicki Torr Memorial Fund was established in 1993 as a memorial to Australian glass artist, Vicki Torr (1949-1992); its purpose to reflect Vicki’s life and work by encouraging excellence in Australian studio glass. It is a cash prize.
This prize is open to current members of Ausglass and represents a fantastic opportunity to participate in a national exhibition that will be viewed by curators and major galleries from around Australia.
Criteria for entered works are that they must be:

- ♦ predominantly made from glass
- ♦ made within the prior 18 months.
The prize-winner is peer-selected, voted by Ausglass members in a competition that runs in conjunction with Ausglass biennial conferences.
The prize is awarded on the basis of the highest number of votes cast by Ausglass members through the voting period. The prize-winner will be announcced at the biennial Ausglass Conference.
